We are kicking off the year with an array of outdoor festivals and exciting entertainment, get out and enjoy the marvelous weather, there's much to keep us all busy this month!
We start off 2016 with our magnificent fireworks display over Biscayne Bay and in January right on the heels of the holiday season, some fantastic festivals await.
This month's world-class entertainment features Madonna on her Rebel Heart Tour, the world's premier classical Chinese dance company, the Shen Yun Performing Arts, and an all-time classic Spanish tenor Plácido Domingo.
Sports fans won't be dissapointed, the Miami Heat and the Florida Panthers are well underway on their regular seasons.
For kids and families, the Circus is in town!

Art Deco Weekend - January 15-17, 2016
Hosted by the Miami Design Preservation League, the Art Deco Weekend is a tribute to the Art Deco era and involves a series of top notch events over this three-day weekend including Classic Cars, the Parade, Fashion Shows, children's performances, Films and Lectures, Live Music, Antiques, Street Festivals and more.
In addition, the League sponsors an array of great specialty tours offered uniquely during the weekend.

Fairchild's 8th Annual International Chocolate Festival
Calling all chocolate lovers! This weekend is all about chocolate at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens.
Featuring cooking demonstrations and samplings as well as lots of activities for kids, learn how chocolate is made and hundreds of ways to cook with chocolate.
When? Friday to Sunday January 22-24, 2016 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

La Feria del Mercado de San Miguel
September 26 through January 31, 2016
Madrid's historic Mercado de San Miguel comes to Miami! Tapas, ham, paella, gazpacho, gambas, fish... and a tinto de verano to wash it all down...
Selected Spanish chefs and vendors will set up kiosks and small carts at the wide open air area in Bayfront Park, recreating the atmosphere of this beloved food market.
When? daily through January 31, 2016 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. Fridays and Saturdays until midnight.
Where? Bayfront Park at 301 N. Biscayne Blvd., Miami, FL 33132
Where to Park?: There is limited, paid parking at Bayfront Park. You can also park at Bayside Marketplace nextdoor or take the Metrorail to the Government Center Station then transfer to the Metromover Inner Loop to Bayfront Park.
How Much? Admission is FREE, food prices range from $2 for small tapas to $8 for larger dishes.

Santa's Echanted Forest - October 29, 2015 to January 3, 2016
The largest Christmas-Themed Amusement Park and Carnival is back on its 26th year with its 3 million lights, 92" christmas tree, and the carnival rides for little ones and those wanting a little more extreme.
Located in the heart of Miami in Tropical Park, you will no doubt see the lights from the highway as you drive past.
It is a huge sprawling lively event, just coming to see the lights is worth the trip. Tons of entertainment for kids and families round it all up. There are the many live shows, games, magic acts, mazes, all sorts of rides, from carrousels to roller coasters and drop towers and of course, the carnival food!

Family Fun Fest at Biscayne National Park

Family Fun Fest is a FREE program at Biscayne National Park brought to you thanks to the many volunteers and park sponsors. It is held on the second Sunday of the month during the "dry and cool" season, December through April with lots of fun and educational activities for kids and adults alike.

The Circus is in town! Tigers, Elephants, Acrobats, Clowns...
This is an amazing spectacle, that certainly does justice to their motto "The Greatest Show on Earth"™.
Great family fun entertainment full of non-stop thrilling and exciting acts, just what a circus should be and more!
Don't forget to arrive at least a half hour before show-time for the pre-show event (which starts an hour before the performance), where kids can mingle and take pictures with the cast, i.e. elephants and clowns, try-out their juggling skills, or simply absorb all the fun atmosphere.
