Fabulous SunFest, Mother's Day, A Colorful Orchid Show...
Easter has come and gone, temperatures are picking up and it's time to head out to the beaches!
This month brings us to West Palm Beach for SunFest, the annual waterfront music and arts bash that needs no introduction.
Then we head south to Homestead for the largest Orchid show in the country.
Don't forget Mother's Day, and May also marks the "unofficial" start of the summer vacation season with Memorial Day at the end of the month.

SunFest Music and Arts Festival - April 29 - May 3, 2015
Every year, on the first week of May, the West Palm Beach waterfront becomes the stage of a gigantic party for 5 days with a full lineup of top musical acts, a Fine Art and Crafts competition and exhibition, a 5k race and a stupendous fireworks display on the final day.
This year's performances taking place on three stages will no doubt include some great names as it has in the past.

Wednesday and Thursday - 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Friday - 5:00pm to 11:00 pm
Saturday - noon to 11:00 pm

Redland International Orchid Show - May 15 to 17, 2015
Over 50 booths of colorful blooms at this 3-day event which features the largest annual orchid show in the country.
Along with the beautiful and exotic flowers there will be supplies for sale, lectures by experts in the field, raffles and a great atmosphere to enjoy all sorts of international delicacies.

Red Bull Global Rallycross - Saturday and Sunday May 30-31, 2015
Red Bull Global Rallycross opens its 2015 season with a brand new event in Ft. Lauderdale, racing on city streets in front of the Bahia Mar Resort & Marina.
The first of two Florida events on the season, drivers will compete on a street course as they look to kick the season off on a high note.
Watching A GRC Race: GRC events offer a unique and unparalleled viewing experience for fans at the track and watching broadcasts alike. Events are designed to produce the fastest and most exciting racing in all of motorsports, without lengthy breaks in the action.
