Fabulous SunFest, Mother's Day, A Colorful Orchid Show, and a Fantastic Air and Sea Show to Honor our Heroes on Memorial Day
Easter has come and gone, temperatures are picking up and it's time to head out to the beaches!
This month brings us to West Palm Beach for SunFest, the annual waterfront music and arts bash that needs no introduction.
Then we head south to Homestead for the largest Orchid show in the country.
Don't forget Mother's Day and to finish off the month, this year we have the inaugural event of the National Salute to America's Heroes, a fantastic Air & Sea Show and Music Explosion on Memorial Day weekend.

SunFest Music and Arts Festival - May 3 - 7, 2017
Every year in the spring, the West Palm Beach waterfront becomes the stage of a gigantic party for 5 days with a full lineup of top musical acts, a Fine Art and Crafts competition and exhibition, a 5k race and a stupendous fireworks display on the final day.
This year's performances taking place on three stages will include some great names as it has in the past. The 2017 lineup features Snoop Dogg, Flo Rida, Marshmello, Christopher Cross, Ambrosia, Steve Winwood, and many, many, MANY more!

Wednesday and Thursday - 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Friday - 5:00pm to 11:00 pm
Saturday - noon to 11:00 pm
Sunday - noon to 9:00 pm Fireworks are at 9:00 pm

Brew At The Zoo - Miami's Largest Craft Beer Festival
More than 100 craft beers, food vendors, and live performances. This year will feature musical performances by Patrick and the Swayzees, Inna Sense and Bachaco.
General admission includes complimentary unlimited sample beers and access to buy food from vendors and complimentary non alcoholic beverages.
When? Saturday, May 6, 2017 - 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Redland International Orchid Show - May 19 - 21, 2017
Over 50 booths of colorful blooms at this 3-day event which features the largest annual orchid show in the country.
Along with the beautiful and exotic flowers there will be supplies for sale, lectures by experts in the field, raffles and a great atmosphere to enjoy all sorts of international delicacies.

Memorial Day Weekend: Miami Beach Air & Sea Show and Music Explosion
May 27 - 28, 2017
There is no better time to pay tribute to our military, first responders and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country than Memorial Day Weekend, and in this spirit, a fantastic event to mark the kick-off of the National Salute to America's Heroes initiative will take place on our sandy shores with all five branches of the military represented: The Army, the Navy, the Air Force, the Marines and the Coast Guard as well as our police, firefighters and first responder agencies.
What? A two-day music festival, a world class Air & Sea Show, and Fireworks!
When? Saturday and Sunday May 27 - 28, 2017
Where? Along the shores of Miami Beach

Memorial Day - a Public Holiday - Monday, May 29, 2017
This is a public holiday celebrated every year on the last Monday in May in honor of the men and women who have died while serving our country.
Memorial Day is the "unofficial" start of the summer vacation season, while Labor Day in September marks its end.
Federal government offices are closed on Memorial Day.
This year, the National Salute to America's Heroes will launch its inaugural event on Memorial Day Weekend, Saturday and Sunday May 27 and 28, 2017. There will be an exciting Air And Sea Show as well as stage shows and entertainment on the beautiful shores of Miami Beach.
