Temperatures are picking up and it's time to head out to the beaches!
As the Miami Open comes to a close after two weeks of electrifying tennis, this month brings us to Key West for a one-of-a-kind celebration at the Conch Republic.
The largest LGBT event in Miami is back this year in South Beach with its legendary parade.
For our baseball fans, the Miami Marlins are back at home and ready to swim deep into the NL East!

"The Fair" - March 23 - April 16, 2017
The Fair is in town! Rides, rides and more rides, oh and there's the cotton candy, funnel cakes, turkey legs, the roasted corn on the cob... no wonder this is one of the largest annual family events in the State.
This is more than one giant amusement park...
...although for kids, that's reason enough! There will be tons of live events and games, agriculture shows, a circus, a petting zoo, livestock exhibits, an ice show, skateboarding races, professional boxing matches, Grammy Award winning performers...
The $25 all-you-can-ride wristband is worth it if you and the kids will be hitting the roller coasters and rides. Individual tickets get expensive at $1.25 per ticket, some rides require 3-4 tickets!
All live entertainment and concerts are included in your admission.
When? March 23 to April 16, 2017 Open Daily Except March 27-28 and April 3-4
Where? Miami-Dade County Fair, 10901 SW 24th St. Miami. Coral Way (SW 24th St) and 112th Avenue
How Much? General Admission $10, 5 and under free. Tickets for rides are extra. A 22 coupon ride book is $20 and an the Pay One Price Unlimited Ride Card is $25. These are the online prices, they are higher at the fairgrounds. It can get pricey when you add up rides and food, but proceeds support scholarships that reward youth achievement in artistic, athletic and academic programs. Be there!

Sprung! Spring Beer Festival - April 1, 2017
Every spring, thousands of beer enthusiasts gather for a celebration of seasonal brews, delicious food, and live music.
This time around, the festival ratchets up the good times with an even bigger selection of beers to sample, more than 300, from all over the world.

Miami Beach Gay Pride Festival - April 7-9, 2017
This is the largest LGBT event in Miami and certainly a thre-day weekend packed with flashy, bold and spirited events...
What's on? Beach parties, block parties, VIP parties, challenging runs, concerts and live entertainment, the legendary parade, fireworks and even a 4-night cruise to the Bahamas!
The Parade is a colossal affair and the crown jewel of the festival, with hundreds of participants and over 35 creative floats showcasing the Spirit of Pride.

It is held on the second Sunday of the month during the "dry and cool" season, December through April with lots of fun and educational activities for kids and adults alike.

Fishing Derby and Breakfast at Zoo Miami

Come out to Zoo Miami and help catch fish from the lakes to remove invasive fish species. This helps improve habitat quality and creates room for native fish and wildlife.
Zoo Miami provides the rods and bait, you reel 'em in!
The family that catches the largest fish will win a behind-the-scenes experience in the Amazon and Beyond exhibit! Zoo admission for the rest of the day is included.
