With the cooler weather approaching and hurricane season behind us, November is a great time to head outdoors. Beaches are still balmy but the scorching days are over. All beaches and parks have reopened, so head outdoors!
Migrating birds are making their way
back and manatees will be looking for the warmer waters, our National Parks will be teeming with wildlife soon.
Miami in November celebrates several exciting events and holidays and because of Covid-19 which continues to present challenging circumstances, the formats of the events are different this year to comply with social distancing and enhanced health and safety measures. The Miami International Book Fair is going virtual, Jungle Island's Luminosa! Festival of Lights is set to return this month as are the many Thanksgiving events. The Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show has been confirmed and it will go ahead from October 28 - November 1st.
Many attractions and tours that can be conducted safely and within Covid-19 precautionary guidelines have reopened; however, concerts and large scale entertainment events will have to wait for a while as all indoor arenas and performance centers remain closed.
In sports, the Dolphins, the Canes, the Panthers and
the Heat are making arrangements to bring back fans into the stadiums as soon as possible and carry on with their regular seasons with as few disruptions as possible.
Thanksgiving is upon us and it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Bayfront Park will kick off the holiday season with the official Tree lighting and Bayfront Holiday Village.
At this point we need not keep repeating that all events are subject to change! Please always double-check with organizers for any last minute changes or cancellations.
